Overview
In the Morning: A guided walk in Bassano del Grappa, a characteristic town in the Vicenza region on the slopes of Monte Grappa, famous for the Old Bridge, also known as the Alpini Bridge over the Brenta River, designed by Palladio in the 16th century. Due to its geographical location, the city has an important history in the events of World War I and World War II. Visit to the Poli Grappa Museum and possible tasting. In the afternoon:
Walk from the center of Bassano to Villa Angarano along the banks of the Brenta River
Wine tasting from the vineyards of Villa Angarano and typical regional products
Visit of the Villa and the winery (ground floor, as the villa is still inhabited) and the beautiful romantic garden.
